ReStart Client Privacy Policy

Privacy notice for people requesting services through ReStart

Effective date September 11, 2026
Document version 1.0

Purpose

This policy describes the client information ReStart collects, how the information is used and disclosed, how messages and payments are handled, applicable retention and security practices, and the choices available to clients.

1 Scope

This Client Privacy Policy explains how ReStart Connect LLC (“ReStart,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when a person uses a client account, requests or books services, communicates through ReStart, or makes a payment.

This policy applies to the ReStart mobile application, website, and related client services. It does not control an independent provider’s separate handling of information outside ReStart.

2 Information we collect

Depending on how you use ReStart, we may collect:

3 Information we ask you not to submit

Do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, full banking credentials, detailed medical records, or government identification through ordinary messages. If ReStart needs sensitive information for a specific purpose, ReStart will identify an appropriate process.

4 How we use information

We use client information to:

5 How we disclose information

We may disclose client information to:

6 Messaging consent and moderation

ReStart stores and transmits messages so clients and providers can coordinate services. ReStart may use automated tools and authorized personnel to review content that users report or systems flag for suspected fraud, spam, threats, exploitation, unlawful activity, or violations of platform rules.

ReStart limits administrative access to personnel and contractors who need information for authorized support, security, moderation, legal, or operational purposes. Access may be logged and reviewed.

7 Location information

ReStart may collect an address or location that you enter for a service request. If you grant device-location permission, ReStart may collect more precise location information to support nearby searches or service coordination. You may manage device permissions in your device settings, although some location-based functions may then be unavailable.

8 Payments

Stripe processes payment credentials and connected-account transactions. ReStart generally receives transaction status, amount, provider, limited payment-method details, refunds, and disputes rather than complete card numbers. Stripe’s privacy policy governs information Stripe handles for its own purposes.

9 Retention and deletion

ReStart retains information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, service records, tax and accounting obligations, disputes, fraud prevention, safety, legal compliance, and enforcement.

When a client requests deletion, ReStart will delete or deidentify information unless retention is reasonably necessary or legally required. Deleting an account may not delete information held independently by providers, Stripe, or other parties, and may not remove information contained in another user’s transaction records.

10 Security

ReStart uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These safeguards include encryption in transit, appropriate encryption at rest, access controls, restricted administrative permissions, credential protection, logging, software updates, and incident-response procedures.

No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Clients should use unique passwords and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

11 Children and minors

ReStart client accounts and bookings are intended for adults at least 18 years old. ReStart does not knowingly permit children to independently create accounts, hire providers, or make payments. If ReStart learns that a child created an account without appropriate authorization, ReStart may suspend the account and delete information as required by law.

A parent or legal guardian may contact ReStart regarding a minor’s information. ReStart may require reasonable verification before acting on the request.

12 Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, or information about ReStart’s handling of your personal information. You may also manage communications and device permissions. ReStart will not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising a privacy right.

Submit privacy requests to privacy@restartconnect.com. ReStart may verify your identity and authority before completing a request.

13 Changes and contact

ReStart may update this policy. Material changes will be presented in the app or otherwise communicated as required by law. The effective date and version identify the policy associated with each acceptance record.

ReStart Service Provider Privacy Policy

Privacy notice for independent providers offering services through ReStart

Effective date September 11, 2026
Document version 1.0

Purpose

This policy describes the identity, business, service, payment, communication, and compliance information ReStart collects from providers and explains how ReStart uses, discloses, retains, and protects that information.

1 Scope

This Service Provider Privacy Policy explains how ReStart Connect LLC (“ReStart,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when a person or business creates a provider account, lists or performs services, communicates with clients, or receives payments.

This policy applies to the ReStart mobile application, website, provider onboarding, and related platform services. Stripe and other independent services maintain their own privacy notices for information they process.

2 Information we collect

Depending on how Provider uses ReStart, we may collect:

3 Sensitive information

ReStart may need identity, tax, licensing, insurance, and payment-verification information to operate the provider marketplace. Provider should submit such information only through the designated onboarding or secure-upload process. Provider should not place passwords, Social Security numbers, full banking credentials, or government identification in ordinary client messages.

4 How we use information

We use provider information to:

5 Profile information visible to clients

ReStart may display Provider’s business name, profile name, photograph, service categories, qualifications, general service area, rates, availability, reviews, completed-job information, and verification indicators. ReStart does not publicly display providers’ full government identification, tax numbers, banking credentials, or complete dates of birth.

6 How we disclose information

We may disclose provider information to:

7 Messages monitoring and moderation

ReStart stores and transmits provider-client messages to support services and transaction records. ReStart may use automated tools and authorized personnel to review content reported by users or flagged for suspected fraud, spam, threats, exploitation, unlawful activity, or platform violations.

ReStart restricts administrative access to personnel and contractors who need information for authorized support, security, moderation, legal, compliance, or operational work. Access may be logged and reviewed.

8 Location information

Provider may enter business, service-area, and job-location information. If Provider grants device-location permission, ReStart may collect more precise location to support matching, navigation, arrival, safety, or service records. Provider may manage device permissions in your device settings, although some functions may then be unavailable.

9 Payments tax and compliance records

Stripe generally collects full bank and payment credentials. ReStart may receive connected-account status, limited payment identifiers, transaction data, refunds, disputes, payout information, and tax-related status. ReStart may retain records needed for payment reconciliation, tax reporting, legal compliance, fraud prevention, and disputes.

10 Retention and deletion

ReStart retains provider information only as long as reasonably necessary for account operation, service records, credential history, taxes, accounting, payments, disputes, warranties, fraud prevention, safety investigations, legal compliance, and enforcement.

A deletion request may not require ReStart to delete information needed for completed transactions, licensing or safety history, tax reporting, legal claims, fraud prevention, or another user’s records. ReStart may delete or deidentify information when retention is no longer reasonably necessary.

11 Security

ReStart uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect provider information. Measures include encryption in transit, appropriate encryption at rest, role-based access, restricted administrator permissions, credential protection, logging, software updates, backups, and incident-response procedures.

No system is completely secure. Provider must protect account credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access, lost devices, compromised client information, or security incidents.

12 Provider obligations for client information

Provider may use client information only to evaluate, schedule, perform, document, and support an authorized service or as otherwise permitted by law. Provider may not sell client information, use it for unrelated marketing, disclose it without authorization, or retain it longer than reasonably necessary. Provider is responsible for protecting client information in Provider’s possession.

13 Your choices and rights

Depending on where Provider lives and subject to legal exceptions, Provider may request access, correction, deletion, or information about ReStart’s handling of personal information. Provider may update many profile fields in the application and manage communications and device permissions.

Submit privacy requests to privacy@restartconnect.com. ReStart may verify identity, business authority, and request authenticity before acting.

14 Changes and contact

ReStart may update this policy. Material changes will be presented in the app or otherwise communicated as required by law. The effective date and version identify the policy associated with each acceptance record.
